Our MRCS courses are now approved by the Association of Surgeons in Training (ASIT) and are supported by Professors, Consultants and SpRs from all over the UK. We are in association with and supporters of the Plastic Surgery & Burns Research Unit, the director of which is Professor Sharpe OBE. We are also supported by Medical Education Leeds, Leeds Hospital NHS Trust.

DrExam (TM)
was created by a trainee surgeon who qualified from medical school in London. Throughout his training he was heavily involved with tutoring candidates for final MBBS & MRCS examinations.
Whilst studying he consistently found that formal teaching was rarely available and poorly structured, often taught as monotonous lists that were very difficult to remember. Using immaculate notes with hand-drawn diagrams and developing a systematic method to examination and studying that anyone can learn. He ultimately passed the MRCS on the 1st attempt, within 2 years of qualifying from medical school with a score of 90%!

The Plastic Surgery and Burns Research Unit at the University of Bradford was set up in the wake of the 1985 Bradford FC fire disaster in  which 56 people died and over 200 were injured.

The Unit was established with money from public donations and the tremendous efforts of many local groups. Since 1985 the Unit has remained partly funded by voluntary donations.

DrExam (TM) Revision Tutorials and the DrExam (TM) Learning System are now being utilised by MRCS & MBBS candidates all over the UK. Over 147 recent bookings have been made and these numbers are increasing due to the successful results achieved by candidates during their examinations.

Each carefully constructed course is specifically designed to teach you just the information that you need to pass your upcoming examination.

When you attend our lecture courses, you will receive an originally published and bound pack of notes presented in PowerPoint format that focuses on key points in each subject without having to wade through pages of text. Our testimonials and candidate success stories show that using the DrExam (TM) notes save hours of precious revision time. All information is guided by current syllabuses and presented using the DrExam (TM) Learning System, designed to facilitate memorisation and structured recall during 'high-stress' examinations.

When you attend our small group clinical tutorials, you will be taught to perform examination routines, elicit important signs and more importantly receive personal feedback on your performance. Additionally, we will teach you structured answers, covering the main questions asked by examiners at the end of each station. Your notes packs will be presented in an identical manner, using the DrExam (TM) Learning System, allowing you to continue your revision with ease.

Our feedback suggests that you may not find a better course on offer anywhere and that our notes packs may be more helpful to you than others that are currently available!

We have continued to research material from top candidate lecture notes, included original diagrams and radiographs, crossed referenced with current medical school syllabuses and have provided this material to Consultants for review.
